About Me

Sean Brodie “Bruiser”

Sean Brodie

Canepole Adventures grew from the simple fishing trips to the river that I took growing up. Those trips didn’t take me to Alaska or to the Amazon for wild fishes, but they took me on my own  adventures. Armed with a bamboo cane fishing pole and a bucket of worms, I often took to the river bank with hopes of catching the next river monster.

Over the years I grew out of fishing with a cane pole, but still keep those river roots close to heart. Now, my primary fishing focus is kayak river fishing across the southeastern United States. Canepole Adventures is an attempt to document those river fishing adventures and even provide an instructional tip or two. So come along for the fun!

Enjoy the adventures!
